About Melissa Katz

Adult ADHD Coach Supporting Clarity, Confidence and Meaningful Change

I specialise in ADHD coaching for adults, helping clients better understand how ADHD affects their work, relationships, wellbeing and everyday life.

My coaching supports adults who want to strengthen executive functioning skills, improve emotional regulation, develop practical systems and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Every client’s experience of ADHD is different. I work with adults at different stages of their ADHD journey. Some clients come to coaching after a formal ADHD diagnosis. Others are beginning to recognise patterns of overwhelm, procrastination, disorganisation, emotional intensity or difficulty following through, and want to understand themselves more clearly. Parents may be struggling to manage their child’s ADHD and need guidance and support.

My Background and Experience

Before becoming a coach, I worked as a solicitor and human resources professional. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation of the pressures many adults face while balancing work, family responsibilities, relationships and everyday life.

Throughout my career, I was drawn to understanding why intelligent, capable and motivated people could struggle to achieve the outcomes they wanted, despite their effort and best intentions.

The more I learned about ADHD, the more I recognised that many adults had spent years trying to manage challenges they did not fully understand. For many people, gaining insight into how the ADHD brain works can be transformative.

When adults understand how ADHD affects attention, motivation, planning, organisation, time management and emotional regulation, they are better able to build on their strengths, navigate challenges more effectively and create systems that are realistic and sustainable.

This interest ultimately led me to coaching psychology and to specialising in ADHD coaching for adults and parents.

Today, I am passionate about helping adults gain greater clarity, confidence and self-understanding, and develop practical approaches that enable them to thrive at work, at home and in everyday life.

My Adult ADHD Coaching Approach

My coaching approach is structured, practical, collaborative and grounded in real life.

I draw on coaching psychology, cognitive behavioural coaching, positive psychology, mindfulness and systems thinking to help clients better understand how ADHD is showing up in different areas of their lives.

Together, we explore patterns, identify strengths and develop personalised strategies that support each client’s goals, values and lifestyle.

This may include support with:

Adult ADHD coaching is not about trying harder or forcing yourself into systems that do not fit. It is about understanding how your brain works, building on your strengths and creating practical strategies that support meaningful change.
